PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE MAKE-UP DATE...THE PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE DAY THAT WAS CANCELLED (DUE TO A SNOW DAY) HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 31ST. OVEE STUDENTS WILL BE DISMISSED AT 1:50 THAT DAY (JANUARY 31ST). TEACHERS WILL BE CONTACTING THE PARENTS WHO WERE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 24 TO RESCHEDULE THEIR CONFERENCE.

Honeywell Instant Alert System:  Orchard View School District has implemented the Honeywell Alert System to better communicate notifications by way of phone or email. This year, we will be using the system to notify parents of school closings due to inclement weather. Parents, please log onto https://instantalert.honeywell.com to update your profile. If you are new to the district please click on "new user parent" to set up an account. Please be sure to update your profile if you have phone number changes. If you have questions about this process, please refer to the Gus Gazette or call our office.

Parent Pick-Up:  Blue (outside the blue village doors) - parents may park in the north parking lot. Green (outside the green village doors) - parents may park in the north parking lot. Red (from the cafeteria) - parents may park in the pre-school/main lot.

OV's Got Talent:  Try-outs are January 30th OVHS Auditiorium (High School try outs: 2:45 p.m., Middle School try-outs: 4:00 p.m., and Elementary try-outs: 5:00 p.m.). One act per person - Show Night:  Elementary & Middle School - Feb. 6th (6-9 p.m.) & High School - Feb. 8th (6-9 p.m.). Audience voting will take place each night. The "Top 5" acts from each night will advance to the final night performance. FINALS:  February 10th (6 - 9 p.m.) in the high school auditorium. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Harvey or Mrs. Keiser at the high school. 

February 4 (2:00 p.m.) - The West Michigan Symphony and Conductor Scott Speck would like to invite you to attend the Saturday Matinee Performance of "Carnival of Animals," as well as a free family pre-concert event in the lobby an hour prior to the matinee. Information on tickets is available on their website as well as calling Rita at 231.726.3231, ext. 23. All student tickets are $5, pre-concert event is free.

February 8 - Spring Count Day - Please be sure your child attends school this day.

February 10 - 100's Day
